M4U Radio Show – 5th March

M4U Radio Show – 5th March

M4U is my radio show on the Student Union Radio Station Hive Radio, and it celebrates everything that MMU and Manchester are great for! Playing songs from the decades and shoutouts, M4U is the radio station for everyone!

This week we had Ross and Zineb from MMU’s African Carribean Society (ACS) and The Middle Eastern and North Africa Society (MENA) to talk about the Culture Festival they are hosting on Friday 9th March.

A night full of performances by talented people, celebrating Middle Eastern, North African, West African and Caribbean culture, art, music, traditions and good vibes!

With a fashion show, spoken word and music, there’s something for everyone!

We also welcomed the MUGSS, Manchester Universities Gilbert and Sullivan Society! They were letting the world know about their upcoming production of Iolanthe.

The House of Lords are paragons of legislation (at least, that’s what they call themselves). But their world of ermine robes and taxpayer-funded champagne is about to be changed forever as the fairy Iolanthe reaches the end of a 25-year banishment, and Strephon, her half-human son, begins a career in politics.

Watch the cast of meddling fairies and arrogant peers in Gilbert and Sullivan’s ridiculous light opera at MMU’s Student Union from 22-24th March.

Tickets cost £9/£6 concession and can be bought here!
