Hello everyone. I hope you all had a lovely week. I spent the weekend editing videos for my course work, and I had a lovely chilled weekend. I thought I’d use this extra time to allow you to get to know me better.
How do you drink your tea?
I don’t like tea that much. I’m more of a coffee girl. But my favourite herbal tea is peppermint.
What is your favourite dessert?
I like anything chocolate, salted caramel and pistachio. I love pistachio cannoli.

What is your current mood?
I am feeling happy today, as it is my parent’s 30th wedding anniversary. We had croissants and orange juice for breakfast, and have a bottle of bubbly in the fridge for tonight.
What was the last song you listened to?
‘Do You Hear the People Sing?’ from Les Misérables. I am currently coordinating a reunion performance of the song with some old cast members, which is for an online concert.
What is your favourite song?
‘September’ by Earth, Wind and Fire. BEST SONG EVER! Everyone can dance to it, and it makes you feel so happy and uplifted when you’re singing and dancing to it.
Where would you like to travel?
I would love to visit New Zealand and Australia at some point. I used to work in an Australian bar, and there were lots of Australians with me on my year abroad. I have lots of friends out there and want to travel around for a couple of months. One day.
What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
I did a charity skydive in 2017, and I loved it. I raised over £600 for the Bournemouth Hospital Charity, and I would do it all over again. Here’s a couple of photos from the skydive.
What is a quote you live by?
Take every opportunity given to you. Think about the consequences later.
What is one of your fears?
I don’t know yet. Maybe snakes. I guess I’ll find out when I come across something that scares me.
What is one of your passions?
Theatre – my favourite thing in the world. I love watching it, performing in it, reviewing it.
What is your guilty pleasure?
At the moment, my guilty pleasure is doing my tapestry while watching Netflix. Another one at the moment is planning trips and future travelling plans. I enjoy looking at guides for different cities around the world.
What is your favourite season, and why?
My favourite season is spring. Because then you have summer and fall to follow.
What cheers you up?
I put on some great music, dance around my room and get rid of the negative vibes and thoughts.
Dogs or cats?
Dogs 100%. This is my doggie, Lucy.
What’s your dream holiday?
My dream holiday is travelling around Europe. Hopefully, I am going interrailing around Europe in summer 2021 after I graduate. I’m so excited.
What would your last meal be?
Italian, with all the tomato and mozzarella I can handle. And then cannoli for dessert.
What are you most grateful for?
I am grateful for my family and their support of my career and choices.
What is your dream job?
My dream job is to host my own late-night entertainment show— The Tonight Show with Jess Stoddard.
Do you believe in aliens?
I won’t put them out of the question.
What is your favourite sport?
I enjoy watching basketball and ice hockey.
How do you relax after a long day?
I like to get my pyjamas on, sit downstairs with my family, watch TV or a film with them, do my tapestry and have an early night. I read before I go to bed. I am currently reading ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets’.
If you could meet one historical figure, who would you choose, and why?
I would like to meet William Shakespeare and thank him for writing some of the best plays ever created.
If you had to be a teacher, what subject would you teach?
I would teach performing arts. Dancing and singing all day – yes, please.
Describe yourself in a sentence.
I am a fun, outgoing girl who loves theatre, espresso martinis and making people laugh.
Who makes you laugh the most?
Two people. My dad (I think that’s where I got my sense of humour from) and my best friend, Molly. She is as crazy and outgoing as me.
What superpower would you choose?
I would choose the power of time travel. That way I can be in two places at once, like Hermoine in Harry Potter.
What is your biggest accomplishment?
My biggest accomplishment was deciding to go to university in Manchester, and then to take a year out to travel to America and study at Buffalo State. I am proud of the woman I have become since taking my life into my own hands and control.
